Great product. We've tried others, but this one really does the trick. Stable on surface. Sharpens to an super fine tip. No breaking while sharpening.Love this pencil sharpener. Only one beef, can't sharpen Faber Castells, they are too big to fit. Seems to sharpen all others to exceptional fine points. Great for Prismacolor, Derwent and Lyra brands, that I know of?I wanted a dual powered pencil shapener made by Foray - it appeared that the Office Depot brand was the same thing.I unpacked it when it came, plugged it in and tried to sharpen the pencils we use for crossword puzzles. It did not sharpen any better than the worn out one we were using. I want to return it. I love the Foray sharpener my husband purchased some time ago at Office Max.Loud but works great. Takes about 4 seconds to sharpen and the pencil is super sharp every time.Put my two X-Acto sharpeners and the Derwent one to rest. I needed a helical sharpener for my colored pencil art. Sharp point and clean wood finish. works on battery and electricity. I like it and recommend it for colored pencils.I bought this pencil sharpener based on the positive reviews for colored pencils. This sharpener does not sharpen colored pencils to a sharp enough point! I like to have my colored pencils super sharp and this sharpener fails miserably.Wow. Best pencil sharpener I've had in years! Reliable and sharp every time!Batteries didn’t fit in the bottom.
