Why choosing Ticova? Ticova's professional design team has done their best to improve every parts of this ergonomic office chair by dozens of testing, so that we can offer you a real ergonomic chair. Ticova is a professional and fast developing company specializing on office chair. Due to the specialization, we can pay more effort on the design improvement and quality control of our office chair compared with others. Ticova’s ambition is to provide nicely designed and comfortable adjustable office chair with high quality and competitive price to our consumers. Kindly notes: If you find it difficult to press the wheels fully into the ergonomic desk chair base due to the ring on wheels, which can greatly reduce the vibration and noise of casters, you may need a rubber hammer to strike the ergonomic computer chair base with caster below lightly. Usage advice: 1. Make sure the ergonomic mesh chair is firm enough before usage. If the mesh chair is shaky, uneven, tilted or with noise, please screw up further, especially for the leg screws. 2. Please sit deeper to experience more supportive backrest, seat cushion and headrest. 3. Please choose an open area for assembly. You may put the carton on the floor to prevent abrasion between the floor and the ergonomic mesh chair. 4. Avoid long time direct sunshine on the mesh office chair. Keep it away from fire and wet area. 5. Do not use chemical detergent to clean the high back office chair. 6. To unlock the tilting function, please pull the handle out and lean back slightly until a 'click' sound. Safety guarantee: Our mechanism, chair base, wheels and gas lift have passed BIFMA TEST; therefore, you do not need to worry about the breakage and other safety issue. We promise you a safe and comfortable lumbar support chair.

Pros:- Easy to follow assembly instructions.- Lumbar support is nice but wished it had a larger range to go deeper into my back.- Very comfortable so far (it's only been 2 days)- Good size for me (and probably most people). I am 5ft3in. I use the lowest setting to barely plant my feet on the floor or a taller setting where can plant my feet on my footrest. I'd say if you were shorter and wanted to plant your feet on the floor it would probably be too tall. My boyfriend is around 6ft1in and it is comfortable for him but if he were a few inches taller the chair would probably be too short.- The armrests height are adjustable. I use the highest setting and it is perfect for me to rest my elbows on.- The seat is large enough that I can sit with my legs crossed on the seat comfortably, which I really like. Note that if you are shorter than I am you may not be able to bend your knees if you sit completely against the back of the chair, due to the length of the seat. The back of my knees are right on the edge of the seat when I sit against the back of the chair.Cons:- The headrest is definitely the cheapest part of the chair, specifically the plastic part that adjusts the height. You have to position it to the right position in relation to your head or else it will collapse when you lean your head back. Mainly why this is minus 1 star.- It may not be a con for some, but the seat fabric is not leather/faux leather type of material. So it might stain more easily and be harder to clean.Quality of the chair seems high vs the price. Assembly was pretty straightforward, extra fasteners were included in case you lose something, they even included cloth gloves. Particularly impressed by the thickness of the plastic mouldings and the cast aluminum base. I added easy roll casters off amazon for about $30 (SEE PICS). The only reason I’m not rating 5 stars is the lumbar support... they attached the adjustable lumbar pad to the structure of the chair at the top of the lumbar pad, which means the lower portion of the lumbar pad can easily flex back, and so your back really only feels the top pressure of the pad. The chair is good enough that the way I am working around this is by adjusting the pad to the best position for me and then supporting the bottom portion of the pad by pushing a spacer down in there, when you see the assembly this will make more sense, and it’s an easy fix to improve comfort. Overall for the money I’m pretty happy so far but redesigning the lumbar feature would make it a great chair. Also - small detail - they should print the Recline logo on the handle right side up, this is really the only visible ‘tell’ that this is not a high end chair.I’ve had this chair for two years and it has been very good. The only problem is the headrest is quite heavy but is only supported by a very thin neck. It finally snapped and cannot be c-glued together due to the weight. I am currently still using this chair while on Solidworks figuring out how to fabricate a mount for the broken headrest.Bought this chair for $200 in March 2020 for WFH. I fit within the weight limit for the chair and I don't consider myself "hard" on it's use, but it was reasonably comfortable. Wasn't a fan of it's lumbar support from day 1, but I got it within a reasonable tolerance. By NO means was this chair, or intended to be, a "8 hour work day chair" but I'm often up and walking around while I'm working, so it fit my needs.I used it for about 2 months until my employer allowed me to bring my office's high-end Steelcase office chair home. Opted for that because that Steelcase is an awesome chair (and there's a reason they cost $1K and up). I used the Steelcase from May 2020 until July 2021, then brought that chair back to my office and swapped back to my "new" Ticova for WFH. My Ticova was in the corner of my home office, generally holding my hoodie or a pair of sandals at most that entire time.About a week ago (late Aug. 2021) the recline mechanism broke and it will not lock anymore. Engage the lock, it holds for a moment or two then it releases so I can't sit up straight anymore. This chair is now nearly unusable as a work chair.Contacted Ticova support. Technically the chair is out of warranty, but with how little use it's gotten since I bought it, I suspect it was flawed from the factory and had I been using it full time for WFH I would have discovered this flaw within the warranty period.Ticova's support response, while prompt, essentially said the "frame would need replacing" and I could buy one. That's it.This is telling me this chair was a piece of $200 junk from the very beginning and Ticova's "support" is indifferent at best. I've gotten better performance out of a $50 junk chair I bought at Walmart, lasted me 4 years until I replaced it with this Ticova. If you're doing the new 50/50 office/WFH (or permanent WFH!) with your job , pay up for a GOOD chair from a reputable company that stands fully behind their product.Avoid anything Ticova. Overpriced for low quality and really tone-deaf support.Decent chair for the money. Easy to assemble. Casters work well on low carpet and smooth surfaces. Mesh back helps keep you cool throughout the work day. Very good support in head, back and seat. I can say that with confidence having used it 8+ hrs a day, five days a week since I got it.The recliner lock and height adjuster both broke after about a year and a half or so, but to be fair, I’m a good 50 lbs or so over the recommended weight limit, so I can’t be mad at that. If I was lighter, I’m pretty confident that stuff would have held up better. The one real gripe I do have is the adjustable headrest. It broke as well under no type of abuse. Good news is my kid is still small enough that she can use it on its shortest setting. If you are within the weight limit on this chair, I think it’s a good option for an affordable office chair. It's not the best chair you'll ever use, or the worst. I find it comfortable, have had zero back pain even though I work in it all day and play video games at night in it, and have been known to have back pain from working at a deck.If it's in the price range you're looking for I'd pull the trigger!
